The museum uses contemporary and modern works of art to interpret historical events in the state's and nation's past. This includes original works of art such as California Military History by Verlyn Dean Gleisberg and Bataan Jungle, by Sylvester Mateo. The collection also includes original and reproduced sculptures. These works can be found at the main museum in Sacramento, and also at the several installations of the California National Guard throughout the state.
The museum is always interested in obtaining works of art for public display. These can be originals or high quality prints or reproductions. Please be advised that due to Federal and State Tax Codes, we can not assign a specific value to your donation .Please contact the museum director prior to making any donation to the museum.
