The Navy Radio Transmitter Facility (NAVRADTRANSFAC) at Dixon, CA provides a contract operated LF/HF transmitter site in support of ship/shore and DIS requirements in the EASTPAC NAVCOMMAREA. The Dixon transmitting site, which is east of Vacaville, has a variety of very tall towers, shorter towers and curtain arrays. It was controlled by Naval Communications Station, Stockton, CA, which was closed in the late 1990s.
