The Military Heritage Gallery is a permanent record of all veterans, past and present. By clicking on the various links, visitors can access information regarding veterans and the manner in which they served. Each record will contain the basic information of name, rank, and branch of service, as well as a concise history.
The California State Military Museum has implemented an online tribute to you or anyone who served in the armed forces. Whether you served as a cook, fighter pilot, commander, mechanic, or staff officer, you may join the Military Heritage Gallery registry at no charge. If you choose, you may post pictures or graphics for a $10 tax deductible donation to cover internet charges. This remembrance will be listed on the museum web site as an integral part of the Military Heritage Gallery. Visitors to the web site can recall the military experiences of their family and friends. There is no other permanent on-line veteran's registry in California.
You should submit the name,
rank, and branch of service of the person being honored. Your
nominees are unlimited, although we do retain the right to request
proof of eligibility or edit the entry to our definition of good
taste. You may include a photograph, preferably in uniform, as
well as a statement describing assignments, duty stations, awards
and decorations, anecdotes, nicknames, hometown or other details
of interest. The Military Heritage Gallery represents all who
served in peacetime or war and all branches of the Armed Forces
including the National Guard, Reserves, State Military Forces,
as well as those who served in support of US Armed Forces who
were classified as Veterans and members of Allied Military Forces.
