Road in the Mojave Desert, San Bernardino County, this redoubt
was a sub-post of Camp
Cady, established
by Major (later Major General) James Carleton, who waged a campaign
against tile Paiutes and Shoshones in the early 1860s. It is
20 miles west northwest of Baker on the Fort Irwin Military Reservation.
