GARCIA, Anton R.
Private First Class, US Army, 1952-1954
 
A lifelong resident of California, Anthon Garcia was born in Los Angeles in 1931.
 
He served as a Private First Class in the 1st Infantry Regiment, 6th Infantry Division, United States Army. Attached to the Army Medical Department after basic training, he spent the duration of his enlistment as an ambulance driver while stationed at Fort Ord near Monterey, California.
 
Married for over fifty years he has three children, four grandchildren and one grandchild.
 
He is retired from a 30+ year career with the Metropolitan Water district of Southern California.
