of a larger database of American World War fatalities compiled
by Scott R. Schoner, owner of The Digital Bookshelf (http://www.thedigitalbookshelf.us).
Over ten years in the making, the full database incorporates
information from numerous sources, including over 400 unit and
community histories published shortly after the war.
